So did I, but like I said, we were streaky all year. Only are in the playoffs because the Central ended up being so weak this season. You guys actually had a better record than us. I kinda saw this coming against your pitchers.

At least it's finally a game.

I'd put Scherzer in now. He'll have plenty of rest if we can hold on. And, I don't trust our most of our bullpen to see this through.

WALGREENS IS GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES! FIRST WORLD SERIES IN DC SINCE 1933!

First time I get to experience my team in the WS :') Orioles fan pre-2005 and Nats since '05. This is surreal.

Big shout-out to 13/330. Couldn't have done it without that (completely serious btw).

Also, f**k Jose Martinez. He was freaking impossible at the plate. So glad StL didn't have 8 more clones of him.

19-31 record on May 23.

Brewers up 3-1 going into the bottom of the 8th of the wild card game.

Dodgers up 3-1 going into the top of the 8th of game 5 in the NLDS.

Cardinals trying to rally in the 5th to avoid a sweep, causing DC to fear the devil magic making a return.

Whew, what a roller coaster season it has been so far.

Now just need the Astros to finish off the Yankees.

Cheers my dudes :)

Think we're the choice of every neutral other than fans of NL East teams.

This long break is fantastic for our rotation, but I hope our bats don't get cold.

btw Los, who's your baseball team?

started off NY Mets, I grew up on Long Island, but then they made the 73 WS and lost and there was THIS PLAY

which was so unfair to me as a little 6 yr old innocent bastard.... that i stopped following baseball and turned my attention to football,
the Jets...
but my old man was watching teh 75 WS and rooting for the Bosox cos they were the Yanks nemesis, so I started rooting for Bosox in 1975.

The 1985 World Series almost did the same to me. Bad call at first base was made calling the runner safe (when he was clearly out), so instead of getting out of that inning and most likely finishing the game off, we would have won the world series, but that call allowed a run to score and the Royals to win, and then beat us in game 7. I think that umpire had death threats for years. Which isn't right of course, but he f**ked us bad!

Yeah instant replay has been for the best. Can't wait until umps no longer call balls and strikes in a few more years.

Dang, so you were a Mets fan and are a Jets and Knicks fan? Ouch, NY sports has not been kind.

I wouldn't have a problem with the Red Sox, but Boston fans are annoying af haha. At least you're not from there, so it's all good :Peace:
