Fun fact: The Nationals and the Mariners are the only teams who have never lost a World Series game. (sorry Vava)

Turns out the NLDS between the Nats and the Dodgers was the real World Series and we've just been experiencing bonus baseball since.

If we can win on Friday with Sanchez starting, then the series doesn't leave DC imo since Corbin will be pitching Saturday and Scherzer would be pitching Sunday.

Also, this team is so damn likable. GOAT celebration :hail:

(The 10-2 had me triggered for a little bit ngl)

Never liked baseball anyway :crybaby:

Seems like the offense blew its load in game 2.

Sucks what happened to Scherzer. It might've been a different game if he could've played. Oh well, not over yet.

At least Trump got booed, so that was cool.

Nats blew it I think, always thought NL had the advantage at their grounds because the pitcher has to hit and AL don't. I suspect the Astros will finish this.

Ball don't lie. f**k the umps.

Stras should've gotten his CG :( Hope that wasn't his last game as a Nat, but if it was, then he sure went out on a high note.

Game 7 road field advantage. 666th World Series game on the day before Halloween. Gonna be lit.

You and every other red-blooded American. I'm so nervous.

Before the Series, I said I was okay with the away team winning every game, so my wish has come true so far lol

btw hope you're okay with the fires and PG&E crap.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THE WASHINGTON NATIONALS HAVE WON THE MOTHERTRUCKING WORLD SERIES!!! 19-31 to this. Incredible :cloud9:

This was one of those World Series people will look back on in a hundred years and instantly know about. First ever 7-game series in any major American sport (NBA, MLB, NHL) where the away team won every game. Absolutely amazing how homefield didn't play a role whatsoever. This may never happen again, and we were lucky enough to witness history with the two best teams in baseball since late May going at it.

MVP: A.J. Hinch. Couldn't have done it without him (no sarcasm). Why would you relieve the best pitcher in baseball in the 7th inning after a solo shot when he's on 80 pitches and had only given up like 3 hits all game? Honestly, Grienke could've pitched a complete game and the Astros probably would've been champs instead. And to have Cole warm up and not use him - wtf??? But hey, I'll take it.

Also, bet your house on the Cardinals winning next season. Caps -> Blues -> Nats -> ??? Congrats in advance, StLGunner!
