Having grown up playing baseball for the first 24 years of my life I can tell you that is the most amazing play I have ever seen... And to do it after getting hit with the ball... unless the ball hit the bottom of his shoe or something I can tell you that hurt like a bitch. I got hit in the shin with a ball hit like that while playing 3rd base (about 100ft from the batter and further than that was) and had a welt about the size of a golf ball.
