I know you don't know baseball...

But take a look at this play... happened yesterday which was the first day of the season and will probably end up the best play of the season.

Too bad it was marred by the douche bag commentator... :rofll:

Having grown up playing baseball for the first 24 years of my life I can tell you that is the most amazing play I have ever seen... And to do it after getting hit with the ball... unless the ball hit the bottom of his shoe or something I can tell you that hurt like a bitch. I got hit in the shin with a ball hit like that while playing 3rd base (about 100ft from the batter and further than that was) and had a welt about the size of a golf ball. It was so nasty it turned my leg black and blue from where it hit half way up the shin all the way down to the bottom of my foot. It would jiggle when I ran... :lipssealed:

Still have a bump on the bone where that hit.

Great, but since it was only a stone's throw away (excuse the pun, sort of) I wasn't astounded. I'll show you something better when I find it...

I used to be a baseball fan, nice move, the fact he managed to flick the ball towards 1st base and got over there and threw the ball between his legs for the out.

See, I don't mind baseball and that was a good play. At the same time, if that's the best it has to offer, it's not worth the hours of it.

I can watch it while I'm on the PC or something but not sit and watch it like other sports.

I know you wouldn't know this, but I have never seen anything like that play happen in baseball before...

I've seen tons of people pull off the between the legs shot in tennis. Agassi was doing that before anybody even heard of Federer.

There's better on offer, just doesn't shock me anymore because I've seen it all before.

That was a first though, I've never seen anything like it.

SE13, stuff like that happens all the time in baseball. Not anywhere near as impressive though because they're all wearing 14 inch long gloves to catch the ball...
