the british team, ie the scots will bring us home medals.

more scots in the team = more medals, shame the GB selectors havent realised this yet

When do the Scots win anything.

well apart from an audience on Jeremy kyle..

dnt know the stats, but i would strongly assume that per head of population, we are at least level with the english in terms of medals, and vastly greater than wales or ireland

Scotland have only ever won 3 winter Olympic medals:-

1924 Chamonix
Royal Caledonian Curling Club, Gold, Curling

1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen
James Foster, Gold, ice hockey

2002 Salt Lake City
Scottish team skipped by Rhona Martin, Gold, Curling

A list of country's with a smaller population but a higher medal count.

Liechtenstein - 9
Croatia - 7
Estonia - 6
Slovenia - 4

Hell yeah Vint. I watched that game with my Canadian roommate . . . He was pissed.

Everyone else, don't make fun of my fellow Scots.

Just been watching the ice hockey..... f**k being a goalkeeper!

I don't understand half of what's going on, but the crown green bowling on ice (curling) sounded dramatic, the commentator had an apoplexy at the end.

Superb final in the ice hockey.
I thought Canada were going to throw it away at one stage.

So they say on the radio.

I don't really understand it, but it seems like a good excuse to kick the crap out of someone from a rival Country. How the hell are they allowed to just smash another person off the ball (well whatever that thing is called)

I think one or two of us here could have quite a bit of fun playing that....... But I can't skate.......

We should've had a rubber match to make it fair. Ah well, congrats. We weren't even suppose to be in that game anyway, proud of our boys!!
