Declining DeAndre Jordan (maybe?)
32 yo KD coming off an Achilles injury for 2020-21
Kyrie and his flat earth nonsense

Yeah, I don't see it working as well as some people are thinking. Mentally weak big 3. They'll get a top 3-4 seed in the East, but won't get a 'ship imo

nothing AGAINST the Nets, really. Tho they'll never be as good as back in the Dr J days. THAT was something to root for...ABA, baby!

I just dont really like the whole buy a championship FA team thing is all, really. didnt like the first version ( heat) either and rooted against them.
didnt really like KD to Dubs thing either.

its mostly justa vibe i have. not an anti-Nets thing.

Ahh well .......... my condolences.

Missing out on Zion, then missing out on KD and Kyrie to the Nets of all teams while selling Kristaps due to wanting to clear extra cap space .............. then ending up with zero!

Well, that is as bad as it gets.

I actually respect Knick's fans for sticking with their team, however Dolan makes it extremely hard to feel sorry for the Knick's.

I don't really care about the Nets but I do like that they are a big reminder to established franchises not to take their fans or their teams for granted and sit on no merits just a brand and expect people to come flocking.

.

thanks.

we can only lament the fact of Dolan.but

we've become an embarassment. shame , shame and more shame.

what can i do? i will always support my teams. and , in a way, i dont REALLy when they suck so bad. i dont watch. i dont wear gear. i do root, in my lonely, dperessed way. AFC are going down that road, i hope they can reverse it. despite some bad vibes that have happened between us, DG, i still would love to hoist a cold one with you one day.

Bruh wtf

Kawhi really just low key engineered a trade for Paul George.

Battle of LA: LeBron & AD vs Kawhi & PG

The Clippers have gone from the 8th seed to automatic contenders, if not the favorite, for the title. Goddamn, it's Jerry West's world.

Yeah the little brother teams have got one over big time this year.

Luckily for the Lakers A.D saved them, they were one player away from being completely embarrassed but the A.D signing put them over the top.

Must of been difficult for Kawhi if he grew up a Lakers fan but saying that I think the Clippers org suits him better, more hard nosed and about their business rather than tinsel town Lakers.

I still think the Nets pulled off an even bigger coup in the fact that not only did they acquire KD and Kyrie but they basically stole New York from the Knicks.

The Knicks have zero stars, a sh*t owner, no confidence from the leagues players and some Knicks fans must be considering hoping ship by now........ to think if they got Zion (who actually wanted to go there) everything could of looked different.

Even God hates the Knicks.

Its funny because the NBA today reflects the times.

Millennial's don't have the same respect for establishments the way older generation did, we were always about those traditional teams and adding to those legacy's.

Today's generation are like "Fk tradition, we'll start our own thing" even my younger friends, all they talk about is starting up their own business, when I was young it was more "get a good career, work your way up" now its "Just start our own company".

In some ways I admire it, in other ways its a bit of a reflection of the narcissism that's out there these days, for every one successful company there are over 10-20 broken dreams and broke people.

A lot of these young guys just don't have what it takes, their not even good at their current jobs yet they think they can take off and run a company.

But in some ways its good to challenge the current establishments, who gave the Knicks the right to have a whole City and just sit on their laurels? at least the Lakers responded when they felt the burn.

This offseason is the gift that keeps on giving.

Westbrook is reunited with Harden in H-Town. CP3 has to go to the backwater of Oklahoma :rofll:

For the first time since the 2006 Wade Heat, there won't be a big 3 in the NBA. So much parity this coming season.

Crazy isn't it. It might actually make the league interesting again.

And I thought Harden left OKC to get away from Westbrook. They're going to be fighting as soon as they have their first game that comes down to the last shot. Ha!
