LeBron officially out of the GOAT conversation. Can't call yourself GOAT and let GSW sweep you in the playoff finals, regardless of who your teammates are.

I don't think the lack of one win can disqualify you from the GOAT conversation.

6 Finals losses is the reason he will never eclipse Jordan's greatness among other things, getting swept is a bad look but that alone shouldn't be the difference between him being in the GOAT debate or not - he has already been swept in a Finals anyway.

If the Cavs lost in 5 would you have said he is still in GOAT contention?

Ugh... maybe? Reaching every final since 2010 in some pretty wank teams is pretty insane on its own, disregarding the poor final record. This was the tipping point.

That's harsh imo.

Losing 4-0 or 4-1, either way he still lost six Finals - that is what puts him out of the discussion for me.

Surely getting to the finals pretty much by himself only adds more to the discussion??

............. not when your playing in the weak ass Eastern league.

Lebron needs to stop hiding and stop going to franchises he's propping up just because they pay him all the money.

He's already rich, he needs to make a choice like KD did, greatness or just continue propping up weak ass teams.

This is what Steph Curry and Jordan both had, both were / are the corner stones of great franchises, when your an unbelievable player in a great franchise you can achieve what others can't and that's what people remember years from now, GSW are on their way to trying to pick at the Bulls record, no other team will be able to do that, all KD did is a Dennis Rodman.

Lebron needs to go to Houston or another team with 2 stars already there, GSW ain't going nowhere so unless he wants to get slammed every year ............

You know KD is GS's best and most important player and the main reason they've won the last two championships, right?

Durant is the MJ of the Warriors, not Curry.

Sooooo the Lebron market is open.

State your favoured destination and why?

I think we all agree he has to go somewhere to be able to compete with the Warriors so in my eyes he needs to go somewhere with 2 top players already .............

My picks are .....

San antonio Spurs: Lebron, Kahwi Leonard, Murray, Aldridge etc

Houston Rockets: Chris Paul, Lebron, Harden

My only worry about Houston would be the clash of ego between James and Harden, not sure that would work out?

Go to the Lakers if you don't want to compete.

He won't even make the Finals with them, the West is stacked and the Lakers are abysmal.

Might as well stay in Cleveland.

He should join the Sixers or link back up with Kyrie in Boston.

No way, Kyrie hates Lebron, that would be a disaster, man left Cleveland to get away from him.

San Antonio I think would be best.

I like Houston but I think he'd clash with that big head Harden.

Is Leonard a free agent this summer? I'd say if Lebron stays then Cleveland should try to get him.

Leonard is FA in next summer

I'd love to see LeBron at Spurs but getting it done will be difficult. You have to clear Gasol and Mills without getting anything back
