So the final Grand Slam of the year starts on Monday. It should be an interesting event.
Can Federer become the first man since William "Big Bill" Tilden in the 1920s to win six straight US Open titles? That'd be some achievement when you consider how competitive modern tennis is and how Federer was psychologically broken in Australia when Nadal outlasted him. It's amazing how quickly things can turn round in sport.
What of Murray? He reached the final last year. Can he go one better now? He has a tough draw (if everything goes according to plan he'd have to beat Karlovic, Del Potro and Nadal, amongst others) but he's playing well.
Nadal has a slight bastard of a first round draw - he's playing Gasquet. Nadal winning the title, after the injury problems he's had, would probably be a greater feat than Murray winning it.
Will Roddick be able to keep up his form from Wimbledon?
As for the women's draw, a polite request: can someone please grow some balls (not literally!) and beat Serena Williams?
