Federer is the best tennis player of all time and hell, he deserves to be.

He didn't win with the usual elegance he employed in past matches against Roddick, which will probably make this win even more satisfying for him and even more devastating for A-Rod. This time Federer just stood his ground and refused to lose. Even if you prefer doing thing with panache, sometimes you just have to be stubborn and resilient to get a result. Arsenal take note...

Federer doesn't appear to have the "streetfighting" hustling style of Roddick, Nadal, Murray or Hewitt but when it comes to the crunch, he's as tough a competitor as anyone.
There's David O'Leary and big Willie Young, sending Rixy and Stapleton off on a run

but who long will he play on the highest level? his knee injurie is serious. I think he working too hard. look at federer! he's always cool on the pitch he's not doing too much. nadal is playing like a animal with all his forces. I don't know how long he will do this. he reminds me hewitt who did the same.
