Damo, you do realise he was virtually brought up on clay? When he was growing up he spent alot of time in Spain as a junior, hence he knows Verdasco, Nadal, Del Potro et al quite well. Clay should be the surface he feels most comfortable on.

But then I get your point that the British public wouldn't expect him to win that one at all.

Murray doesn't seem to be in a state to be talking about winning a grand slam. Go Gonzalez and obviously, go Federer.
Wenger please go away

Gonzalez just broke him to go 5-3 up in the 4th and is serving for the match.

Ser shoulder is messed up though. Before the tournament started she said she wasn't really expecting to do well, she basically just played because she didn't want to miss a major.

Federer is into his 20th Grand Slam semi-final in a row. That's an amazing record. The 2004 French Open was the last time he failed to reach a Slam semi-final. He's won 16 of his last 19 semis. He's up against Del Potro. It'll be tough for Federer in that match but with having fought his way out of trouble against Haas and with Nadal out, I'm sure the Fed thinks that fate is on his side this time.
There's David O'Leary and big Willie Young, sending Rixy and Stapleton off on a run

Drugged again

No wonder unknowns are winning and Stosur is through to the semis I believe!

Federer vs Del Potro Semi is looking like a war of attrition. Fed's in the driving seat now though.

A fan's just ran on court and tried to grab Federer. He took it well though.

Ps. Glad Safina lost yesterday. Ugly bat. How can someone be No1 without ever having won a Slam??

Solderling has a proper battle with his nerves before he even thinks about taking that big nosed Swiss arse bag.
