I'm so glad Federer won. Not winning the French Open was threatening to hang over his career but now that he's won it, the pressure is off. What impresses me most about Federer is not his astonishing talent (even though that's brilliant enough!) but the fact that he never gives up. When he didn't win either of the first three Grand slams last season, everyone was thinking that he was done but then he was brilliant in the US Open and won there. Then after Nadal beat him in Australia this year, Federer looked a broken man but he came back brilliantly at Roland Garros. He should have been knocked out by Haas whilst Del Potro also had him on the rack but he dug in and eventually prevailed. I know many people are saying that he didn't beat Nadal in the final but Federer can only beat what's put in front of him. It wasn't the Fed's fault that Nadal wasn't good enough this time.
