An ex-girlfriend lived in East Sheen (I know, I used to tuck away some posh nosh!) and we used to go along the river sometimes to have a gander.

Live in SE London now so to far to go for a stroll.

There's a woman coxing for one of the crews. Can't tell which. Has there been a woman cox in this race before?

I was there a couple of years ago. Believe me, it's better watching on tv, and even that's no spectacle!

Oxford FTW.

Come on Oxford :cheerleader: they have won three out of the last four and they have the heaviest crew of all time. They average 15 stone 9 lbs against Cambridge's 15 stone 1 lb. Weight isn't the be all and end all of this contest, not by a long way, but it is often a very good indicator. Oxford are quite hot favourites to win with the bookmakers and they don't often get it wrong in this event. The cambridge preparation hasn't gone well so all in all I will be very surprised if Oxford don't win. Come on Oxford. :cheerleader: :cheerleader:

Didn't realise the middle ground was so important. Makes sense though.

We're rooting for Cambridge btw.
