Oh no, Adam Gemili pulled up injured in the 200m, he'd barely started but I read that his hamstring went in the warm up. I was so hoping that he would get a medal.

What a 400m hurdle race.

Warholm wins it breaking the world record.

Benjamin with silver who also ran quicker than the previous world record

I thought I'd missed because the BBC just yabber on half the time when there are events going on. I complained once and they wrote back and said the viewers like to see the jabber, (my word not theirs). No they don't!!!

Don't mind the track and field pundits. As previously mentioned, Michael Johnson is as good as it gets.

I don't mind the chit chat, it's when there are events going on and they're not showing them. I was watching BBC one last Olympics, you'd think that would be the main channel, they were just chatting, I then realised that the red button had live events on. I was also once watching the Great North Run and Gabby and co were gabbing on and the runners, who you couldn't see, were running behind them. The elites had gone through, but I wanted to watch them all, what was the point of listening to them talking about themselves when runners, who make up the event really, are not being shown.

I'm sitting here waiting for some athletics to come on, but no, just boxing. I'm not too keen on boxing but I do like our GBs to do well.

Poor Adam Gemili, I've just seen is post event interview, he nearly had me in tears. He's one of my favourite athletes and I was so hoping he could get a medal. He could get ready for the next world champs, but he'll be 30 next Olympics and it might be a step too far for him.
