Just awful to listen to Asher-Smith's excuses.
She's now pulled out of the 200m.
Spoiled brat.

Definitely not the same without the star power of Bolt.

Doesn't feel like there's a true main event.

'When you're twisting in a somersault, sometimes your brain just malfunctions and you get lost in the air. You literally don't know where you are, how many twists you've done, how many twists you still have to do... That is such a scary feeling. With the "twisties" comes a huge amount of anxiety'

I love sport and have tried many, mainly I'm a runner, but I could never, ever do the vault.

It's a mental issue just like the yips in snooker or golf.only in gymnastics you can break bones

Of course something has gone wrong between the ears and I don't blame her for pulling out, she could break her neck if it went wrong, mental health issues are a different thing althogether, surely.

Looks like Max Whitlock might win another gold. Remember watching him in 2016 and now in this one. Only time I've watched gymnastics.

Blake out, looks a shadow of what he once was.

Kerley looks good, took the first semi from De Grasse.

Sneaking into to fastest loser at the moment, surprised he’s 10.00, thought it’d be slower with the winning 9.98
