The GOAT of emotional appeals and being "classy". But when it comes to any honest look at the statistics/achievements both Djokovic and even Nadal are better players and played on a higher, more consistent level throughout their careers.
The weird thing about Federer is he slowed down so much when he was in his early 30s.
At this age you can understand the drop off, but as I said he's only won three Slams since Wimbledon 2012; he was only 30 then, didn't win another until he was 35.
Nothing to do with the age, imo (at least not until 35). He dominated the likes of Safin, Hewitt, 40 year old Agassi and Roddick, but once Nadal and Djokovic came into their primes, he simply found himself in an era with two players who are better than him.
