I'm selling Goonersworld.

After months of thinking about this, I have come to the decision to sell Goonersworld.
I don't have the time due to work and my health lately to continue unfortunately.
I'm not going to rush into selling it. I love this place, its been something I have owned since my late teens and now I'm nearing 40! So it's not a decision I have made lightly.
I'm still looking at where to advertise to sell it and how much for. It's hard to put a price on. But the one thing I do want is someone who will keep it as it is, but with improvements I just don't have the time for. I know this place could be more popular and make more revenue if the time was put in.
As I said, I'm not going to rush into selling it. It has to be to someone who will takeover here for the right reasons.

I need to work out what it's worth somehow. The websites online are ridiculous and can range from £500 to thousands.
I'm waiting on a few sites getting back to me with an evaluation.

If I bought the website I'd have themed weeks. For example:
Wenger Out week: happy with the win and think Wenger got his tactics spot on? Keep it to to yourself, son, or face a ban.
Wenger In week: just criticised Wenger's lineup featuring no natural centre backs? Too late, you're PERMABANNED.
John Terry Day: every post has to contain a reference to England's BRAVE and NOBEL John Terry or you get spammed by a Nigerian prince.
I'd be getting a million signups an hour, guaranteed.

The ad on the top makes a tenner more than the hosting fees per month. There are other ways with ads to make more money without flooding the site.

The joke that Trina has sold out! Alas in all seriousness, it is a tragedy that this forum may be sold. I hope that whoever decides to make the purchase will keep it running as it is for I do not wish to leave for Arsenal Mania or any other forum. I love this forum as it is and wish to see it maintained as is.
