The new warning system for now, is as follows..

If a member is warned in a thread for his comments and it continues, a 1 day ban will be issued.

If the member comes back, is warned in a thread, then a 7 day ban will be issued.

If the member is warned again in a thread it will be a permanent ban.

This might seem strict to some, but its not hard not to call someone a c***/idiot etc online.

I love to see debates, it makes really interesting reading. But it doesn't when abuse it thrown about. It goes off topic and looks really poor.

Its the silly season time, so people are hot headed. But please just re-read your post before you post it!

We are all (well most of us ) here because we support Arsenal. Everyone has different opinions, if you don't agree, then that's fine! But explain why you don't in a reasonable manner.

However calling someone a c*** isnt the only way to be antisocial on a forum and its not the only way to spoil a debate. We have had, and still have, some genuinely crap members who either only want to wum or are so thick that they simply cant take part in a conversation on a rational level. I'd like to see those members sanctioned just as harshly. Its not good enough to just say 'ignore them' otherwise you might as well ignore the name calling as well.
