New forum theme - Please Read

Postby Trina » Fri Nov 22, 2013 7:25 am

We have now set the new theme as default. Users who really want to use the old theme can go to board preferences in their UCP to change their theme to prosilver.

A few other tweaks need to be done still, but the theme has been more or less Arsesenalised.

--------------------------------------------------- Old announcement -------------------------------------------------------------

We are looking to add a new theme to the board as the current one is a bit outdated and is not mobile-friendly. The new theme uses Web 2.0 fonts, is clean and uncluttered, and is responsive to decreased width for smaller screens.

As of now, the new theme has been set up on the board, but the current theme will continue to be default until the new theme has been customised to a suitable degree. Adventurous users who want to try it out can go to board preferences in their UCP to change their theme to Metro Red. It can be changed back the same way.

And as always, feedback is welcome.

Needs some work done to it but it looks good!

Add a few bits and it will definitely look better than the other one.

Okay, this looks unusual. Pretty nice though.

stop being a bitch D. :sneaky:

In all fairness, it's always like this when forums change the layout. I've been through probably 10-15 changes on various forums and there's always a lot of people who don't like it, but eventually it grows on them. Something to remember though is that as the companies that create the scripts for the forums update everything it aids in the stability and fluidity of the forums.

Looks good - perhaps too much white space on a PC (eye strain).

Just looked at it on my phone as well - responsive will serve us well, but the ad banner kinda messes with it.

Yeah, I'll have to find a way to make the ad banner resize dynamically.

This.

I like the look of it but would like the option to flick between.
