What a performance by Mustafi, he did not put a foot in once that game. His bravery was something that I noticed throughout. He headed everything clear, and generally had a great game. May this partnership between him and Koscielny continue to be a great one!

Amen to that, he was a beast and he doesn't shirk away from tackles like the sloth Mert does.

He seems very comfortable on the ball. Saw him make some through passes to our forwards from the back line as well today.

It seems to be working so well atm. He's much faster than I thought initially and he loves a good tussle as well.

Not having merts leave us high and dry every other break may well tip the scale this season. Tbf other than Chelsea, we've not really seen him vs a team full of units though, and Chelsea are trying to play on the turf with conte so there's still that test to come.

Otherwise, he's been as busy as Kos and just as impressive.
