Ozil is still better though.

Flamini is better value-for-money than Matic but I'd sure as hell prefer the latter in my side.

Obviously.

I'd put Eriksen's transfer value at around 25m, Özil is probably around 50m.

Yup, turns out I wasn't wrong last August.

gooney on the other hand... :sneaky:

He's the worst Spurs signing imo and not very good. We have rosicky/cazorla and hell even ox and wilshere. We cant sign players for the sake of signing. He would not get into our starting 11

You watch the Eredivisie? He has been through a rough patch, not particularly by playing bad, not at all actually but he hasn't quite lived up to the hype that has been created around him by the media a few years ago. He's a very clever footballer who would be an instant improvement to our squad, it has nothing to do with signing someone for the sake of it. Besides Rosicky doesn't have the stamina level to play over 35 games per season, plus if Cazorla picks up an injury we're pretty much out of decent options at AM. I'd rather sign Eriksen for £7m and spend the extra money on a top class striker than pay £20m for a horribly overrated Grenier for instance or £15m for a player like Cabaye which we quite frankly don't even need. I personally rate Eriksen much higher than Chadli and that comes from watching them regularly.

He is not close to Cazorla and he is not better than rosicky. Eriksen is very good footballer, but you will see his lack of pace/athleticism be exposed in the PL. Look at Holtby and Sigurdson...they suffer the exact same problem

Rosicky was never a great athlete, neither was Fabregas and Eriksen isn't lacking pace by any means.

On top of that Chadli, Paulinho, Soldado and Lamela have to be one of the worst summers business of all time.

Chiriches looks like a beast whenever I see him though. Would be unfair to include that guy.

Soldado wasn't bad business at all. He was better than Negredo in Spain. I'd say even Paulinho wasn't bad and he still isn't. It's just that Spurs have been LOLSpurs and that has reflected badly on Paulinho.

Erikson is their best player by a mile. He's quality.

We should try getting Eriksen. Swap deal with Wilshere.

Özil's better player and better choice to build a team around but he hasn't performed like that. Eriksen and Higuain would have been very good summer for us. Hopefully we'll get a top striker (lol) and Özil's going to get better.

Wilshere would never agree to that.

Unfortunately you are right.

Here, he's getting 90k a week for being shit and injured.

Unlikely he'd get that anywhere else

Because Cripps is old and can see through everything at Arsenal including brick walls. Us youth are naive and haven't a clue so that's why Wilshere is "shit"

The question should be why you think he isn't

Wilshere possesses the best technique I have ever seen on an Englishman. He simply lacks a tactical understanding of the game and at the moment, a best position.

Both will come in time.
