Italian newspaper Tuttosport has an absolute belter on its front page today – it claims Juventus want to swap Miralem Pjanic for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.

deal. He dont want to play on Arsenal anyway. Sell Ozil and get a winger with his money.

Please note the arrows bellow do not indicate the level of their quality, just the order in which the signings/promotions came.

Lehmann > Almunia > Fabianski > Szczesny > Cech

Cole > Clichy > Gibbs > Monreal

Gallas > Squillaci > Mertesacker > Mustafi

Henry > Eduardo > Chamakh > Welbeck

Fabregas > Ramsey > Cazorla > Ozil

Nasri > Gervinho > Podolski > Sanchez

RVP > Giroud

On average it takes his a few years to eventually replace the top ones which is appalling and yeah maybe Almunia and Clichy were decent at first but what good is one season followed by multiple bad ones, in the case of Giroud it took him 5 years to finally find some sort of good form but he is still nowhere near RVP.

Anyway I look forward to the Sanchez replacement, who knows may it'll be Perez who's good but like Giroud nowhere near the predecessor.

What you havent factored in is the lean financial years where we had to sell top players and replace them with kids or inferior players due to the stadium debt. This is the first real post 2014 squad when money has not been a factor. In the post 2014 period Wenger has spent big on players like Ozil, Sanchez, Xhaka and Mustafi.

^ and we still need a striker. Or we need a winger, depending on where you put Alexis.

Our two strikers - Giroud and Sanchez - are together the most prolific in the league. Based on that I'd say we need a winger. We bid for Mkhitaryan in summer so that's a sign that Wenger is on the lookout for one.

Alexis is not a striker even if Wenger decided to play him in that position. He is too cheap to buy a decent striker to bench the lamp post.

Wake up .... how many times do you need to be told .... the stadium payments are fixed at @20m a year, over the last seven years our available cash on hand has gone from 17m to 253m ....

According to our own accounts we had 170m cash on hand in 2013, yet we only spent 42m on Ozil, so exactly how was money a factor? the same applies to every year since ......

WE COULD SPEND THE WHOLE 253m ON PLAYERS - but we just decide not to .....

Don't let fake 'stadium cost' excuses cover for the Board and Arsene's failure to improve our squad ... that's just total bollocks ...
