I agree to an extent that the toxic atmosphere at the Emirates doesn't help us when we're playing at home, but the fans can't be blamed for being pissed off when the side has performed so poorly at home for most of the season and failed to learn from the mistakes that have dogged us for years. I'm sure Villa Park being half-empty every week hasn't helped the Villa side when they play at home but it's a response to the shit they've had to deal with for so long. If we actually performed close to our potential this season I'm sure the fans wouldn't be quite so angry.

What I don't get is how some fans are saying that we should wait till the season is over to protest.

What the hell is left in the season? Even mathematically, we can't win the league now. It's impossible. Unless you count top 4 as some amazing achievement, there is nothing to play for. Certain people are saying that we could still finish above Spurs, so it's something to play for, but is that our standard? St.Totteringham's day was more to mock them for being unable to finish ahead of us, not actually to celebrate it like it's some achievement. Our fans no longer have a big club mentality
