Sounds like Wakefield has had one of the biggest crowds for the Olympic torch.

Not sure what all the fuss is about myself but glad I'm not at work and sat at home instead!

Watching the torch on the website, been trying to see what work was like.

I just noticed that they are driving the torch from Wakefield to Castleford. Why is that? Doesn't driving it places defeat the object?

I'd agree if it went via Featherstone but it went on one of the safest routes possible and there wasn't even any traffic down the bypass.

I hate Thomas Sabo!

Bought the mrs a ring for xmas this year, cost me over £100 and the thing turned her finger green after 6 weeks!!! Returned the bastard and paid even more money for another ring which shes had for about 5months and now a stone has fallen out this current ring!

I cant find the receipt, she might have it hers but im not 100% sure. Do you think i'll still be able to go into the shop and get an exchange or refund seeing as I paid with a debit card and they might be able to trace it or something?.....

Zenith ... A/C 's running constantly , all homes have it here . They cannot believe we English don't have it / need it in our homes . Plus ceiling fans of course . Was outside yesterday 'til 11am , when I could stand it no more . If you thinks that's unbearable , try Florida , now that's hot 'n sticky !

Blimey, didn't realise it had been 9 years. Me and Sy were only talking about him the other night too.

Top of my five-a-side league with a 4-2 win over a team that beat us 6-4. Played shit but got a goal and two assists  TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!!

Last season (seasons only last about three months and just roll into the next season) we were contemplating throwing games in order to avoid promotion. We wanted to win our league as opposed to just going through in 2nd or 3rd place as you don't get any medals for that. It didn't work and we got promotioin and of course ended up in a tougher league... but now we're kicking arse!

Only one point clear, with 2nd and 3rd on the same points. They're playing eachother next week, we're playing the team that are bottom
