No!

if you've had a one season wonder, got all big time, moved on to a different club then f***ked up like many have done, then your not welcome back!

if you have a good reputation here and worked hard for the club for many years (With the exception of Cole, Nasri and Adebayor) you're welcome back with open arms.

Flamini was a one season wonder and decided to leave, so he can do one basically.

I wouldn't welcome him, but I'd accept him as a squad player.

I really don't think we did much wrong with him.

We were fully stocked, Denilson and Song were showing promise in the Carling Cup, even Diaby was, and they were all behind the first teamer Gilberto.

If he shon in his prefered midfield role, and was then thrown back on the bench, or back as cover for LB and RB as he played many times, then I can understand him being pissed. But that wasn't the case. He looked average at best as a bit-part player, before going into his last season and being given the chance in midfield. He excelled, proved his worth, and developed the best midfield partnership in the Prem... then buggered off!

Anyway, part of the reason why he was so good was his partnership with Fabregas... who is no longer here. So no thanks. Too much of a risk after injuries, a lack of playing, and half the partnership gone.

This was it right here. They were friends beyond the pitch, and great on it.

Not only did I want to hold onto Flamini, I wanted to make him captain. He showed leadership qualities in play and talk, and we had that creep Gallas wearing the armband at the time.

I know it was Flamini's 'dream club' that came calling, so I forgave him. But now... after playing so little... after being seriously injured.... NAH. And I do not think he could come back and carry the same respect among the players that he had at one time.

So sad to say it, but nope.

Hleb available as well?

On a serious note, no I wouldn't take him back. I know he joined his dream club (apparently anyways), but it felt like he stabbed us in the back. He doesn't deserve the chance to make a comeback... with us anyways.

I understand many feel he stabbed us in the back, but I think a logical look at it may say otherwise. We never offered him a contract until we had to. Never played him unless we had to. Then his 'dream club' (if thats true) offered him a contract. He was to turn down a boyhoood dream to stay with a team that showed him no loyalty?

That said, I'm no longer bothered by it. He left, he got the same treatment at Milan, perhaps that is his lot in life. Cannot recreate '08 now, that time passed.

He was a perfect foil for Fabregas... and now we don't have Fabregas
We could do with a more "all-action" midfielder, but I'd rather give chances to Le Coq and Wilshere (or a new signing... M'Vila maybe) than this ingrate
Also, he's turned out to be a bit of a one season wonder... never had that form before or after 08

He did when he played at LB, which is why AW wanted him to switch there permanently.

Far more than a one season wonder.

I loved that midfield, they were fun to watch. Only criticism I have of those 4 together, was besides Flamini, they lacked physicality.
WHAT IS GOING ON AT OUR CLUB?!?!?

Campbell and Henry were superstars. Better than everyone in their day and even in their late careers better than most in their positions. Flamini is not the player he was. And he wasnt a star even back then! he wouldnt get past Arteta, Song, Rosicky and even Ramsey if he came back.
