Rumours (via SkySports Germany, apparently) that Kagawa has signed a new contract with BVB and it will be announced today.

Story is made up. The presser is only to do with "DfB-Pokal-Finale against Munich".

Arsene Wenger is tracking Borussia Dortmund's Japanese midfielder Shinji Kagawa.

The 23-year-old could be allowed to leave for around £7million this summer, because his contract expires next summer.

Manchester United have been courting the prolific attacking midfielder, but Arsenal are now also watching developments closely.

He is the sort of player who would fit straight in to our team without much fuss. Top quality player, who can create and score. Although looks like SAF is in pole position we should at-least put in a meaningful bid and we can also throw in the likes Chamakh to sweeten the deal.

Throw in Chamakh? They won't appreciate you giving them insults when you're trying to buy their player.

If we put Chamakh into the deal, do we have to pay more? :P

The only way is to move in swiftly with a tempting player plus cash offer. Who knows we may just nick it. Whats the harm in trying?

I think Kagawa would be a perfect long-term replacement for Rosicky and if he is available for £7million, he could turn out to be the bargain signing of the summer.

He would fit into our system perfectly too, i'm not so sure he would fit into United's system though.

7 million!? Surely he'll cost more than double that... possibly triple?

Tripple? No he's at the end of his contract in the summer of 2013. ;)

From Rosicky's own mouth his body is younger than one would think because the injuries kept him from the wear and tear of weekly play. I wouldn't look into his age as much as just what he is doing on the field, and for me that means starting him as he has been awesome.
