Neuer reminds me of Schmeichel the way he makes himself seem massive. Great keeper!

Overrated.

Made as many mistakes as De Gay this season.

The perfect final, no Barcelona and no Real! :)

On a side note, regardless of the fact I want Bayern to win, Robben has the chance to beat two ex-clubs on his way to the trophy.

Well, opening was good, but it petered out into a very boring, cagey, and quite incompetent game in the end. Poor defending by both sides I have to say. Really poor, which is becoming an issue because of all these silly laws brought in by those morons FIFA. That Gustavo who was busy throughout, played ok, but seriously he was penalized at times for just brushing a player? Can defenders be allowed to tackle these days? Whatever happened to a mans man? It was like non contact football at times.

Bayern were the better team over two legs apart from their horrific start, Real were disappointing, their midfield didn't take control at all. Just sat back and watch Bayern play. There was no cohesion at all with them. Amazing to think this is a world top 5 team, they looked like strangers at times really. Doesn’t help playing in a league where 90% of the games are a given. (please don’t mention the Europa League and the 3 Spanish teams there, nobody cares about that competition) They got so used to their reputations simply wining matches it seems.

Robben played well, Gustavo was busy, Schweinstiger controlled the game but wasn’t necessarily at his best. Alba was ok, played well down the left but my the defending from Real down that Right hand side :|.

Down the left for Real I thought Marcelo was their best player, Alonso was very good, and everyone else was just patchy or poor. Crisitano took his strikes well then just disappeared for the rest of the game and missed a penalty.

The lack of competitiveness in La Liga I think hurt Real, this apart from the games vs Barca was the second team, with any real quality they had to face. Everyone else like I said that plays Madrid just rolls over. Real, the way they were dominated quite comfortably showed me that they just aren't used to playing against top teams, it's really as if they didn't expect Bayern to be such a match for them. Bayern have had many teams in their league give them a good game, especially away from home, it’s important, keeps your team sharp, and improves the quality of your players! City, Napoli on form, Basel in the away leg all gave them a good test.

My intuition has told me since the beginning of the year that Bayern would win the tournament. Hmm probably should have put a bet on it.

I know, he took his goals well then just f***ked off for the rest of the game and missed a penalty.

Moscow 2008 but worse! Typical Cristiano performance, scores then just stops bothering because he's done his job for himself.

I don't like that Gustavo character. He just couldn't stop fouling all game long and some of his passes were straight off the pitch. Him being suspended is a bad thing for the Chavs more than Bayern!

Bayern need to win this, if we finish 4th, I'd like Chavs to win it, if Scum finish 4th though.

Because IF Chavs win it, 4th place won't even get a qualification place.

I'd rather another embarassing short stay in the CL for Totscum than for Chelski to actually win the damn thing......... they can't be winning this thing before us!!!! That's a no no.

Madrid were shit. They switched off after going 2-0 up and never found any rhythm again then bottled the penalty shootout. That's the best Bayern have played all season

We better hope Chelsea loses because 3rd then becomes the only way into the CL.

I hope Chelsea win it. It will make this fight for third even better!

I think you will get it easy enough though.

If Chelsea win the CL, the fight for 3rd will be an almighty clash, as if it wasn't already. If we win our reamining fixtures (which is certainly possible) we will ovbiously be secure, but I dont think we can afford to drop any more than 2 points. At least Ive still got something to exited about when game day rolls round, which hasnt always been the case this time of year in recent seasons.
