Corrupt UEFA at it again

Postby Yorkyblue » Wed Apr 11, 2012 6:00 pm

Is this what football has come to when you get fined this much for getting out of the dressing room 1 minute late. MORE than Porto got for the racist abuse thrown at our players.

I just don't get it...

Ludicrous.

You know why the fine is so heavy? Probably because if the KO is late it buggers up the TV advertising.

Obviousley the money is no problem to usbut it says more about their views on racism. Clubs need to be fined millions so people will realise the harm it does to their club. They need to make an example of a club but they never will.

Definitely agree it's f'king ridiculous...

I don't get this bit though?

City, who have three days to appeal are dumb-founded UEFA appear to consider that a lesser offence than their late return to the field.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was sanctioned £37,000 and given a three-match touchline ban after confronting a referee in the wake of his club’s Champions League tie with AC Milan. City cannot appeal against the fine.
