Wenger after the game

“Koscielny had tendinitis in his knee when he woke up this morning. I don’t know what position he slept in but he could not walk properly. He tried in the warm-up but could not play. We decided in the morning when he woke up. He came to see me and said he was not sure that he could play with that pain. So we called somebody up and pushed him in the warm-up. Straight away after the first run he said he could not even move. How bad it is we have to assess.”

No run of form at all. Just showing what we are capable of producing when all our key players are healthy

... which is a good run of form

nope. "run of form" implies that it is a snapshot or something but we really are just now showing our true colours.

No you bellend, it's a run of form. Our best in 5 years.

Our "true colours" since 2006 have not been pretty at all, characterised by going on very bad runs for far too long after a disappointment like losing a CC final.

Whether this is a real turning point or just another false dawn remains to be seen and it will depend largely on what kind of summer we have, if you assume we can keep this up until the end of the season that is, which is by no means a given. If it does end up being another false dawn I know you'll disappear anyway, small comforts and all that. Now go away you're ruining a good day

Great FK by Arteta, was wondering when he would finally get one of those out the bag.
He can attack and defend, a very good all rounder.
Lovely touch and finish from Theo as well, made it look easy.

Just read this about the FK.

Wenger on Mikel Arteta's free-kick…

"I prefer it when he takes free-kicks with his laces because he has short feet. Usually the guys who have good insight have bigger, longer feet, and when a guy has short feet like that they are very talented at hitting the ball with their laces. The ball floats a little bit when they take it and I think he is more built to hit the free-kicks like that."

I knew Wenger liked his technical details but bugger me............almost sounds like he has a foot fetish!

I think that's a thing though
Chilavert (the Paraguayan goalkeeper from about 10 years back) was a great free kick taker because he had a big body but small feet

By "we" I'm assuming you mean Spurs?
Don't you know it's physically impossible for you guys to challenge for honours as you are destined to always finish behind us?
Must be awfully cold in that shadow.
