Ox-man needs a promotion, we can't start a game with Arshavin :hiding:

Theo did play well today but it shouldn't be a huge problem unless he's out for months. We're fairly well stocked in the wide positions, wouldn't mind seeing Oxo get a run in the side.

much much needed performance
we were convincing once the goal went in, and didn't give away too many chances in the first half
our first convincing performance since the Carling Cup final really
would have been a perfect match if it wasn't for Theo's injury

My take on the match is as follows.

First Half - we were very quiet. SW53 made a great save. Around half time, we had a very good chance. Bolton were living on the edge with some off the ball follow up.

Second half, we were very inspired. We scored on about 40 sec or something like that, but after that we were in complete control. Juski had a blinder of a game and kept the scoreline to a decent level. We on the other hand, were very wasteful of our chances. If we took half of them, we would have been 3-0 by the 60th minute.

Walcott got up as soon as he went down, so i think he will be ok for the spud mashing next week.

MOM for me was RVP.

It's a good result but its no more than I expected against a poor Bolton side, hopefully we can kick on from here with another victory against Olympiakos and be in good form for Spuds.

While we were very good going forward Today,we still need to be come clinical in front of goal.In fairness with the chances we had,we should have scored at least five.

Also our defense looked shaky in the first half,I suppose the more they play together the better they will get.Bolton haven't got the quality to punish us but other teams will....

All in all a good result and we have hopefully put our nightmare season behind us

Comes from Rotterdam. Hates the Tottenham. Van Persie. Van persie!

Positive result, much needed 3 points and goal difference deficit reduction. This is just the start, need to start stringing wins together now....mash potatoes anyone?

*Yawn in anticipation*

Oh yeah, not going to happen.

For me, all it's done is prolong the agony of Wenger at the helm by a few weeks.

Theo's injury is his knee, not hamstring. So could be cruciate ligament. Hope not
