I was reading a blog site and one of the conspiracies, if you want to call it that, is that if things do continue down this road the end result could be WW3.

World Wars are pretty expensive, but we as a species don't know what's good for us so I could see it.

The only reason this keeps happening is because the world-wide financial system is inherently flawed. Can't someone just, I dunno, wipe the slate clean and think of something better?

At the moment it is like the dollar and the Euro are going toe to toe to see which one crashes first. It is quite a tight battle and the Euro nations are trying to force the loan an measures on Greece to try stop it being them. I don't know how much of a benefit to either it will be to be first though?

Big time, it is shocking when you look at it beneath the surface. There has been a significant trend in the US where citizens realizing how messed up the WFS is and looking at how bad things could get and have been buying silver and gold as means to have wealth and means to trade if it all collapses. The response from the US government was to ban all their citizens from buying precious metals ( http://www.zerohedge.com/article/tradin ... ng-july-15 ). Can't have the rulers allowing their citzens to do good by themselves

Is QE3 set in stone or is it still in the air? I am going to put my tin foil hat on here but could this be part of an economic ploy by the US to destroy the dollar and plunge the country into devastating hyperinflation? It would put the country into an economic hell never seen before but by making the dollar worthless the US debt which is now considered "unpayable" could easily be paid and those who the money is owed to (like China) would be massively screwed on value. It would be a bold way of easily paying the debt but US citizens and foreign debtors could construe the policy as an act of war if it is true *takes tin foil hat off*

Or maybe all the conspiracy theories are true and the elite are screwing the financial system into oblivion because nibiru will destroy the world within 18 months so noone will be alive to pick up the tab

The One Euro lot (or whatever their names are) think that by increasing the Eurozone they can effectively stave off a crash. Mindless fools!
The stronger nations such as Germany and France want to cut the weaker nations but, surely the correct thing to have done from the outset was to impose strict rules on loans and interest rates across the board. But once the superpowers secured favourable loans (the bank managers knew these nations had the output to repay them) it was only a matter of time before the likes of Ireland and Greece came asking for the very same deal.

QE3 is still in the air. On the tin-foil train there are people who believe that Obama and the left are trying to employ the Cloward - Piven strategy to restructure our nation in a socialist manner. And bringing down the dollar is part of it.

I doubt it's that simple, but it's sad we've reached the point that many very intelligent people are starting to as these questions about our president.

I've been reading a book that just came out by David Mamet that I find very interesting, called The Secret Knowledge. And no, it's not a tin foil hat book. It's his story and logical reasoning behind why after living as a Hollywood liberal for the first 60 years of his life, he's seen the flaws inherent in their thinking and why he changed his views. And he brings up a very good point about the way government and primarily, not exclusively, the left works. They dream up these grandiose ideas, or try to fix things the same way they've tried to in the past, but when they fail they never examine the way things are done or their ideas themselves, it's always that they ran out of money and that's why it didn't work. So over and over and over they do the same flawed things never changing and always wasting the public wealth.

I think you'd really appreciate the book, I'd strongly recommend reading it. It's about American Culture, but many of the topics he discusses are universal, such as education. link

unfortunately the UK can't afford to let it crash, we have too much of our money (or china's money which is invested in our banks) to loose the cance to get it back at some point.

The riots in greece was always going to happen, as a result of the austerity. In order to pay off some of the debts, or to atleast convince economies of Germany, France and rest of world that they will get the money back at some point.

Just think of some loan sharks sending the boys round to break greece's knees.
