Give them a cool down period after games, before they post anything.

I don't think there is any harm on connecting more with the fans. I doubt even Diaby is stupid enough to do a Rooney. Player isolation from fans is probably at one of its highest points. Why take something away that brings the players down to a human level?

Punishing the fans if anything....

It'll definately displease the fans, but I'm more concerned about who the players are following. I hope they're not following fans that'll berate them when they perform poorly. Most of our players aren't "mentally strong" enough to handle it, unfortunately :(

I wonder if this was before or after Wenger's comments about looking at the twatter policy?

Jack Wilshere issues super-injunction Twitter threat to Cesc Fabregas

Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has joked that he may have to take out a super-injunction against team-mate Cesc Fabregas over some photos.

After Wilshere used his Twitter account to claim that Gunners captain Fabregas is 'scared' of maverick goalkeeper Jens Lehmann, the Spaniard responded by advising the youngster not to push his luck or he would be forced to publish something rather embarrassing about the 19-year-old.

'U better dont talk cause you know i have something of you that could make me get to 1000000 followers.....,' Fabregas teased.

This 'embarrassing' material is said to be an 'intimate' photo of his Arsenal colleague - and Wilshere effectively admitted as such by adding its publication could increase the number of female followers he has on the social networking site, while reducing his male fanbase.

Wilshere then jokingly 'threatened' Fabregas with a gagging order in a bid to suppress the material, giving a nod to the sort of privacy issues which continue to dominate the news agenda.

'Haha thanks mate thats not embarrising [sic] for me!I may have to get a super injunction out on you now...could be very damaging!' he tweeted.

Fabregas subsequently told Wilshere he had shown the picture to his family, who - intriguingly - described the youngster as a 'natural miracle'.

Wilshere will be heading to the European Under-21 Championships this summer, after Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger revealed his player has been chosen for the squad, despite the Frenchman having reservations about his selection.

While i don't agree with Pro Footballers being allowed to use Twatter, i don't see anything wrong with that? It was clearly said in jest and was just a bit of banter and yet its been blown up as a threat?

Laughable...

I thought the gagging order threats between Jack & Cesc were hilarious at least it shows they get along & can have a good laugh & some friendly banter with eachother. :D

According to Colin Udoh (Award winning Nigerian Football Writer) Gervinho is now on Twitter... Doesn't speak English so he says himself, not sure how legit the account is; was only made yesterday. But Colin says it's him.
