To me Obama is just Bush on steroids. More of the same times ten.

Because of the way he is handled the economic crisis?

Mostly, yes.

The amount of spending is just insane. The lies about transparency. The lies about removing earmarks. The lack of any substantial financial reform.

The best is when he was running against McCain he said a vote for McCain is a vote for more troops in Afghanistan and a third war in the middle east... hmmm funny that.

Do you or Fabs think it would of been any different with McCain? or is it a case of who ever comes in cant do anything different because of the shit and power/money men?

Suprising how your just throwing more and more money at everything without reforms or cuts or changes, worse than Labour as there idea was spend your way out of debt, f**k knows how it works.

I don't think it would have been any different. At least not significantly.

Forest, if you are really interested and feel like doing some research...

We need to elect a true fiscal conservative like Sen Jim Demint (R-SC) or Ron Paul who is on a one man mission to abolish the Federal Reserve.

As posted in the general chat thread, now some people including Donald Trump dont believe Obama is American because wont show his brith certificate lol only in America.

Liked America from early on and when did business studies in College, did a peice on New York and how business help transform some of it, although suggesting people paid for favours which in the end was for the better good got be a C instead of an A.

The Donald's just being controversial, and not many people think Obama isn't American.

He was on The View last week and said something along the lines of, "if I were Obama, I'd show my birth certificate to shut people up about it" and it's gotten picked up by the media and blown out of proportion and grown a life of it's own.

I'm sure somewhere along the line when becoming a politician he's had to show his birth certificate.

While small businesses get told they cannot get any monetary help the big businesses get all they need

Ron Paul on the offensive again as well.

I saw on the news last night that GE made something like 14b profit last year and paid no federal taxes to the American government. That is bad enough but one of the top men in GE just happens to be the advising the president on business.

Hmm surely no one would suggest there was something incredibly suspect going on there....

It also apparently means that US taxpayers will be paying interest on the loans of foreign banks and businesses. I don't understand it all but apparently they print their own money to make these loans, devaluing your currency and if s*** happens it will be US taxpayers bailing out the foreign loans.

Also remember that GE make the nuclear reactors which messed up in Fukushima and have every reason to get the US government to toe the "Everything is ok there is nothing to worry about" line. I am reading reports right now that in order to make the "Iodine, Cesium, Strontium, etc levels are within safe limits" statements to be true, the US EPA are about to raise the safe limits of these particles in food and water by thousands and thousands of times. It won't be reported by your media but watch out.

Read it before on Barclays and Tesco, you alter your US accounts to break even but make profits in tax heavens or countries where the tax is alot less like Latvia, Lithueina, etc.

Obama starts his 2012 election campaign. I am not eligible to vote here, but I doubt he would have got my vote if I was.
