Yeah that's what I was saying though.

He's said that thinking that there is no other meaning to it but all his US followers are thinking WTF??
The UK followers didn't pick up on it.

You two need to watch more American movies.

For example, in 48 Hours Eddie Murphy comes out of prison and goes straight to a club. He picks up a girl and says to her "I don't mean to be rude but I've just been in the slammer for 2 years so I don't get into some trim pretty soon..."

Trim = very short trimmed hair.

I watch plenty of American movies, i just don't allow myself to accept bastardization of the English language and pathetic slang!!!!

48 hours while a classic is also OLD.

England has their own form of slang too, every culture and language does I'm sure. Whats wrong with that?

I'd say trim means haircut... :dontknow:

I don't think I've ever heard anybody say that meaning anything else.

Just checked and it was made in 1982!!

Thought it was a bit newer than that. Mind you I can't have seen it in 1982 because I was nine years old so I'm sure my parents wouldn't have allowed it.

It isn't the only place I've heard that expression it's just the only example I can think of right now.
I'm sure one of the kids said it on The Cleveland Show the other day.....

I have a friend that uses "trim" as "pussy" all the time. Thats the only reason I know it, but I don't hear it too ofter from others. I think its from the older generation.

He he check out the Urban Dictionary, look at number 5:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Trim

It even mentions 48 Hours!
Obviously Eddie Murphy and me are the only two people to have used this expression since 1982 then!

Clearly it didn't catch on....
