I vote no.

Sometimes the only thing that keeps me going is the certainty that death will one day rescue me

Wgat happens if after all this nano technology makes it possible for us to live extraordinarily long lives you suffer a horrific injury? I am pretty sure nano technology couldn't make half your face grow back.

You may not believe in a higher power but this is playing God.

You could have a dream team and play super football. The lineup would look something like this:

Massa
Massa Massa Massa Massa
Massa Massa Massa Massa
Massa Massa

You would still lose against Est83 FC though... cos that formation is straight up wack!

If you knew you weren't going to die, what would be the point in doing anything? You would have an infinite amount of time to do something, so what's the rush?

Honestly, I wouldn't mind being able to live for a few hundred years, but I'd want to be able to choose when I want to die.

It's not because I'm a depraved human who can't cope with death, it's that there's so much I want to see. Real evolution, the colonisation of Mars and the Moon - none of these will occur during my lifetime (by real evolution, I mean being able to see evolution in action).

I'm just curious, and curiosity never hurt anyone. Except the cat. It killed the cat...
I'm out, pushed before I could jump.
It was fun.

Burn short, burn bright.
Always Arsenal.

My other haunt.

it's already visible in this lifetime, just look at how various strains of TB have evolved to become resistant against certain antibiotics
