you are right highbury was special but i don,t miss end of season games like that qpr game in front of 19,000 when you looked at the bench for options and it was jimmy carter.
for me the emirates signals progress and like the appointment of wenger moved us onto another level.i love the way you was gooning at 4. i had to wait till the ripe old age of 7 before i got my 1st sniff of 1st team action.
i get no kick from cocaine but i still find arsenal a habit that i have no desire to kick.
yeh i was thrown into the gooner life very early. my auntie made me a junior gunner the day i was born. i feel very fortunate to come from a big, die hard arsenal family. both my mum and dads sides of the family are all arsenal. something like combined 30 odd family members all gooners and during the 90's there was something like 10 ST's within my family, now due to prices and family moving further away from london there's only 1 still in our family

. even my mum and dads brothers/sisters all married other gooners. it's great, xmas was always big family parties that after dinner always ended up arsenal quizzes or putting on one of the assorted arsenal dvd's that'd been given out as presents to different people!!

only wish i could have gone a bit more regularly than i managed when living there, especially at highbury.
