We stood by Sagna when he broke his leg twice. I believe he had a family member die as well, his brother I think and we gave him all the time off he needed at our cost.

And he repays us by going to a rival.

f**k him. f**k Wenger and the board.

Sagna had a week off when his brother died
He missed our 4-0 fa cup defeat at man utd
He would'nt have played in that game anyway
Eboue was used at burnley in the 3rd round
Hoyle for the 4th round tie with Newcastle
And eboue who was sent off at old Trafford
I am not even replying to you
You're an idiot
I am reminding sensible posters
Of sagna,s tragic loss
He came back and helped the defence keep a clean sheet v European champions Milan
He is a shocking loss

Sagna is a shocking MAJOR loss. I don't know what we could have done but we should have gotten hold of him. We won't find somebody nearly as good to replace him and yet again - directly or indirectly - we've been successful in strengthening our rivals.

Very few players who openly admit it tbh - Gyan comes to mind.

I don't care what he has to say. He moved to City, don't care the reason. Thank you for your services and hopefully you suck at City.

LOLness when players try to justify their move for anything but money.

A player who didn't ask for a pay-rise in his entire contract with us +

a player who moved on free transfer +

a player who didn't moan to leave +

a player who gave is 110% every time he was on the pitch +

a player who is one of the finest full backs in the world today and yet didn't moan when half of the team were busy dumping us.

I have lots of respect for Sagna and what he says here is pretty spot on. He may have moved for whatever reason but I just hope we don't boo him because he's the closest we have to an icon in the Emirates era. The likes of Ramsey, Ozil, Per, Kosc, etc. will soon join that but for now - he's the only player who didn't moan to leave when f'kin retards like Clichy and Song were moaning and he left with a trophy.

All that sticks in my craw is where he went to. It immediately causes the mind to draw parallels to Clichy and *gasp* Nasri.
