Go back and read the last 3 or 4 pages Trina, people are really enjoying a good bashing.
And why shouldn't I stick up for him? You should be pleased that the forum is getting more posts.

And, anyway, how can he say he was "good down the left" and at the same time say his dribbling, first touch, pace and finishing were all poor?

Why don't you ask him?
And why won't you respond to my last post to you?

Perhaps there's something amiss with Bendtner's shot preparation...

14 months = one whole season of play and over a year of development, which is highly significant at their age. If Walcott is playing like Bendtner in a years time I will not be happy.
But I believe Walcott is a much more talented player. I hope that if he was fit he would be playing more at the moment, We could use his pace.

I going to shock every one here

but what do you want from a 4th choice striker who is better than most 4th strikers playing out of position

sell Ade not bendy and the future will be bright

I would sell them both ideally, TBH, but for different reasons. Ade for the money and Bendy because I dont think finding a better replacement would be too difficult.

And if Walcott is playing like Bendtner in a years time on the left wing I will not be at all surprised.

You haven't shocked me at all. 4th choice and out of position and people expect an impressive performance.
It just isn't realistic.

So basically he means well but he's shite ;)

I was just watching Juninho's free kick :hail:

Meh. Players have been known to be good without having pace and dribbling skills, I thought he was solid, his positioning was good, passing, his defensive game was good, all while playing out of position and I think it's a shame he was so shite in his one clear chance in front of goal and his first touch was a bit dodgy or else he would have had a great game not an average one

All this talk about Bendtner is taking away from the real talking points of todays game. The Roma bloke playing with his lad before he came on (or off) and the fact that the cameraman seemed to be enjoying the view a bit too much...

Yeah that was weird!
And why was he wearing Y-fronts? And why did he tuck his shirt into them?

There was certainly not a thing attractive about seeing that! Even from a womans point of view.

True, that camera did linger for bit too long

I thought the commentator got a bit worked up about it though, it was very British of him ;)
