The second leg is 11 March. Walcott should be available for the match, but not sure he'll be 100% with fitness by then. Eduardo will be back and fully available though, barring any setbacks with his hamstring.

I thought we were fantastic tonight. Starting at the back, Gallas dealt professionally with anything Roma had, not that they had very much. It was important to avoid letting in an away goal. Denilson had a very efficient game in the middle and Nasri was superb. The game was more open and it was good to see us playing with a bit more flair. Van Persie's stature is continuing to grow. Bendtner's miss was dreadful, as was Eboue's. If that Bendtner chance falls to Eduardo, it's a goal. We should have won by more than 1-0 but I'm confident we can go to Rome and get a draw, possibly a 1-1.
There's David O'Leary and big Willie Young, sending Rixy and Stapleton off on a run

Great game from our Gunners tonight!! :arse fan:

I just hope we won't regret all these missed opportunites of scoring more goals.... :hiding:

And I wonder why AW didn't play Eduardo or Vela or Arshavin to give more impact in attack in the last 20 minutes!! :dontknow:

got up at 5:30 am for this much anticipated clash with roma , we dominated the first 15 and could have been two up by that stage if it wasn't for niklas " first touch of an elephant" bendtner and a glancing header from nasri that went well wide . mottas driving shot from 30 metres out in the 17 th minute scared the hell outta me .
was very impressed with the way diaby came back from injury and controlled the middle of the park ., he even unleashed a screamer that was well saved before being subbed . nasri was everywhere and me mate clichy ran hard all day chasin the ball like a jack russel on speed as per usual .
sorry to be so negative about the win , but will those misses cost us on the return leg . f***ing man u destroyed roma last year as we all know . imagine goin to roma 3 , 4 or possibly 5 goals up . it would be all over . was pleased with the result but felt we missed at least 4 clear chances
