Congratulations to England!
Aussies lost it due to their batting in the 1st innings.

I must say, that was a great performance by England. Australia were behind for the entire match after England's excellent start, and the result never really looked in doubt. Although they got some decisions to go their way, England were still the better side throughout, and deserved the win.

Credit to Mitchell Johnson, a quite brilliant knock trying to save the game.

So, we take a 1-0 lead to Edgbaston after absolutely dominating this test. What a fitting tribute that Freddie gets a 5for, and even more fitting that the game was wrapped up by skittling the middle wicket out of the ground.

To say I'm euphoric would be an understatement.....

australia only made somethin like 215 in the first innings , so that didn't help us at all . england just played better than us over the 5 days really . england did everthing better than us
