Well it has been 3 years since i last played cricket, mainly due to our move from London to Somerset but after watching the winter tour to the West Indies then the 20/twenty world cup and now Ashes fever. I have decided to play again, I have joined Warminster CC and had my first net session on tuesday night with the 1st XI, it took me about a dozen or so balls to adjust to the pace (they are fooking quick with a SA pro bowler). But I was really surprized at how well i did once i got to grips with the speed and was smashing it by the end of my batting session, Also i am really looking forward to Saturdays match for my boys aswell, I spent my childhood at cricket because my dad played and it I had a great childhood growing up at the cricket. for some reason i am registered in the 2nd XII squad as Adrian Joseph instead as Damian Joseph but they will change that next week.........

If it is second team it will be 3 or 4 and if i play for the firsts it will be as a spin bowler so i will bat 6 or 7............

Well the come back has hit a snag........ Whilst playing a cut shot yesterday (in a quickfire 22) i got an inside edge onto my left foot and broken the cuboid bone in my foot...........six weeks in plaster for the Damo!!!!!!

Not happy, not happy at all!
