Has he got a British passport or something?
He he.
Why are we scouting the world for DMs when we have Song, Frimpong, Coquelin etc?
And why would Chelcunts be interested in one when they have Essien and that nob end Obi Mikel?
Persoanlly I think Coquelin is the way forward mate.
With prices being banded about for the DM's we're interested in, it just makes it look more and more likely that whichever one comes in will be Song's replacement. Song's certainly showed more attacking intent recently, but I'd still rather play someone like Jack or Arteta next to an out-and-out DMF than the new box-to-box Song.

Essien's an old man now and his knees have gone. Romeu is too young so that leaves Obi Mikel who is being played as a DM even though he's better used more advanced.
On a completely separate note to all those saying he's not worth £15m I'll wager you'll be the same folk crying out how Chelsea paid big money for Tiote whilst Wenger kept his hands in his pockets.
If you think this guy isn't worth more than ten million then you haven't seen him play. I'd say he's a. Wetter option than M'Vila and is ready for the big time.
Around 15 million pounds would be a fair price for him imo. 20 million pound and you would rather spend a bit more and get Javi Martinez. I agree Tiote is a much better option than the one dimensional M'Vila plus he comes with PL experience plus he is not scared to put his foot in..

26 year old Ivory Coast international Tiote may well himself be tempted by the chance to partake in Champions League football, an achievement he may feel is out of his reach at his current club, though it is worth noting that the player has publicly stated that he is happy at Newcastle United.
Wenger has earmarked moves for a myriad of defensive midfielders but as yet has not concluded a deal to sign one. His ongoing chase to snap up Rennes youngster Yann M’Vila is no nearer completion so the Gunners boss is ready to change targets and will look to tempt Newcastle United into a sale with an offer in the region of £15m.
Tiote has made 53 appearances for Newcastle United and his only goal coincidentally came in the form of a wonder-strike that capped a superb comeback by the Toon Army as Pardew’s men secured a 4-4 draw with Arsenal having been 4-0 down.

Don't see a reason why Newcastle will sell him, let alone to us, a club competing with them in the upper side of the table.
Would make more sense and probably cheaper to get M'Vila.

Tiote over M'Vila any day. Tiote never shies away from a tackle. He is versatile midfielder who has the ability to play as a CM/DM.

He is one of my favourite players to watch and if things don't go our way this season then getting Tiote may just be weakening a rival to the 4th spot.
Yup for a change instead of strengthening our rivals.
