Arsenal are to hold talks over a possible deal for CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia.

Montpellier's Olivier Giroud has been Arsenal's prime target but Doumbia is a player they have watched and they are keen to discuss terms.

CSKA value him at £26m but it is understood that could be negotiated to bring him within Arsenal's budget.

The Ivory Coast international, 24, scored 38 goals last season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Johan Djourou, 25, has admitted he is ready to consider a move away, with Juventus in the hunt.

He said: 'If an interesting offer comes in for me, I will look at it carefully.'

This guy will cost a bomb with a market value of over £20 000 000 and a contract untill 2015 I really can't see him go for less than 20 which makes it pretty unlikely that we'll sign him.
I'm far from optimistic about this one, altough I would love to have him at the club.
