Park has without doubt been Wengers worst signing for Arsenal. £3 million thrown away.

dissagree Arshavan would have to be up there,Diaby in the context that we bought him instead of Yaya toure, the list could go on and on really,Park has not played so how do you base the argument,Chamakh has set the world on fire LOL

For this basically, near the end of the season he wasnt even given a space on the bench. Me thinks this signing has something to do with Monaco needing some dough, Wenger obvs has history with them as well.

I still think he's good enough to do something in the Prem.

I can't see the signing being for that reason though muppet, afterall, Lille were jsut about to sign him before jumped in there. Money is money, whether it's coming from Arsenal or Lille.

That sounds more plausible.

Would be nice if Wenger came out and cleared it up. Not full disclosure of course, but it'd be nice if we were linked to a striker and he came out with something along the lines of "No, we're not looking at player X, we're expecting big things from Park this season".

I thought Wenger and the board had learnt their lesson from Nasri's fiasco last year but no they haven't. After our dreadful start i thought we would be more decisive with getting rid off our deadwood, tying up RVP and finishing up with our transfer dealings at the earliest. There was this huge media BS going on that Wenger is really serious this time but like always..its wenger we are talking about..

Almunia left cos his contract was up.

Denilson ?

Bendtner ?

Arshavin?

Squillaci ?

Diaby?-He will leave only when wenger decides to call it quits.

Park?

Chamakh ?

Vela?

RVP contract not sorted out and no signs yet that it will be..

Only positive thing is the signing of Podolski.

Put down the crack pipe. Arshavin hasn't been at his best for a while but he's hardly Wenger's worst signing.

Park isn't good enough to even get in the first team. In fact, Wenger trusts him so little that Chamack or Mertesacker up front was our plan B last season!

But it's only May 24th and Window doesn't open until July 1st... Effectively.

Dick Law has been extremely busy trying to move people out.

I know Tra but nobody wants to pay the wages that we do .. That is the main road-block in getting rid of deadwood imo.

That's a mute point when the players we have aren't playing and want to. They will take the pay cut rather than sit on the bench and slowly kill their career.

Almunia did it..

Squillaci did it and will probably do it next season

Chamakh did it and probably will do it again next season...
