For a man who relies an awful lot on logic, he makes more illogical decisions than he does logical.

Would'nt you just love to pick his brain one on one, no cameras, no reporters, just a coversation to find out what hes really thinking.

Christ, he could have cracked up ages ago like Robert Mugabe or that General off of Apocolypse Now, still clinging on to power but no one who could ask, has had the balls to ask 'AW, is everything OK?'

Hmmmmm

No, because his answers would probably cause me to hit him.

Plus he has the knack for infecting people with his bullshit so its highly likely you would go in there and come out with PHFC disease.

I wouldn't think he's "cracked" up, I just think he excuses too much, he's not enough of a badass.

But the 6 players in front will still be slack with pressing and again, more great defenders will be made to look shite

We could ahve Cygan back and he would look amazing if only we closed down better. Although in recent games it's looking as though this is being addressed.

4-2-3-1 is doing wonders and also nasri/walcott do a good job back tracking from both flanks. something wed have never seen with arshavin

I bet Blackburn wouldn't mind Fabregas for Keith Andrews either.

I don't think it's the formation, especially as the two deep midfielders aren't out-and-out holding midfielders. You've got a point with the personell though. It's only recently we've been starting to close down off the ball to any great effect but we've had the same formation all season. Both Nasri and Walcott will run til they're dead, Arshavin not so much. So probably more to do with that than anything else.

That's what I said in the Juve/Arshavin thread.

It's very highly unlikely that he's looking for another CB. He 100% isn't looking for one to replace Vermaelen... that's jsut fact!

Should be buying a partner for vermaelen with the others as back up.

Like you say though, arsene would say we already have enough CBs
