Why not say that? Are you Anti-Samba?

Not anti-Samba but just not my choice of CB, he would be use for some games like Stoke but dont rate him enough i guess.

IMO we need a "slow" less-pacey CB. All our Pacey CB's like to speed off down the front-lines and leave us caught at the back...

We need one who's going to stand their ground like a brick wall.

Just like Felipe Melo extended his deal with Fiorentina, then two days later signed with Juve?

Yea, I'm glad we didn't sign him (Melo), but the point is just because he signs doesn't mean he can't leave if he wants, or that they won't sell him.

Is he really lacking pace? I've never noticed. I didn't think Wenger would ever be interested in such slow players when we play with such a high line.

He may be good with set-pieces, but the way Djourou bosses the box, it's looking like set-pieces are no longer our achilles heel... everything seems to land on his head!

I can see us eating set-pieces for breakfast with Djourou and Vermaelen

We didn't play with a high line v Leeds and looked solid enough. We should NEVER play a high line.

Still think this guy would have been a much needed pick up during the winter window and remains so. He isn't big time enough to probably have a problem being on the bench. Squillaci has entered Tweety territory, should not be allowed on the field unless all hell breaks loose at the back.
