Frank Nouble

Heard any rumours? This is the place to discuss potential transfer targets.

Frank Nouble

Arsene Wenger is set to nick Chelsea's highest-rated youngster in years.

Frank Nouble, 17, came through the ranks at Stamford Bridge but turned down professional forms with the Blues as he fears he will not get any first-team opportunities.

The free-scoring left-winger has been tracked for some time by Arsenal youth supremo Liam Brady.

Yeah saw that a few days ago, good catch indeed!

He is probably Adebayors replacement.....

He can also run 100 metres in 10.9 secs, now thats fast and at 17, he
can only get faster.

6ft3 as well and looks quite strong

Sounds like possibly another jewel to place in the arsenal academy crown, never a bad thing!.

Although no contracts been signed and i'm pretty sure the only reason we've been linked with him is because a) the assumtion he'd have more chance at first team action and b) our already sparkling academy and recent youth sucess.

I can see him being the kind of striker we would benefit from in a few years, should we sign him. Didn't see any headers but he has everything else.
Chavs loss, our gain? Hope so.

From these stats alone he sounds very impressive. Not much to lose if we acquire him, but a whole lot to gain.

He's already got the physique for the premier league. Jusrt depends on his technical and mental ability. If he can read the game well. Should be a good addition to say the least, also he's best pals with Jack Wilshere.

And holy shit he is quick. Not bad for a tall lad, he reminds me of Usain bolt, yet he can actually play football.

West Ham to beat Arsenal to Nouble signing:

West Ham United manager Gianfranco Zola could be set to seal a transfer coup by beating Arsenal and world-renowned talent nurturer Arsene Wenger to the signature of up-and-coming teenage forward Frank Nouble.

Nouble is currently on the books of west London outfit Chelsea but has rejected the chance to sign on professional terms with the Blues.

The south Londoner has represented the Stamford Bridge side since he was 12-years-old and is beginning to enjoy a growing reputation in youth football.

Nouble is a versatile attacker, and is comfortable playing on the wings or occupying a central position.

Arsenal were believed to be leading the chase in luring Nouble, 17, away from Chelsea, as the player is alleged to be good friends with current young gun Jack Wilshere, however, he is believed to favour the move to the Irons.

Nouble has been called-up by England to squads at Under-17 level.

This sounds somewhat strange. I'm still hopeful that Arsenal can acquire his services, as he looks like a talented youngster with some impressive attributes.

He might feel he has a better chance of playing at West Ham.
