Quality performance from Madrid today. They were too much going forward and they took the confidence out of Bilbao quickly and that is one of Bilbao's biggest weapons.

It was good to see how much both teams cared as well, it is a shame that many English clubs treat it like it is the Zenith data windows trophy.

I can half understand it from the top teams that only qualify for Europa through an early CL exit. But Everton, Liverfool, Newcastle etc etc (Totscum ), (that second tier bunch) should really go for it. It seems that'd rather have a decent FA cup run... but what's more liekly to attract attention from international talents?
