African Cup of Nations

Who's yer moneyz on?

I have no vested interest in this year's competition but I think I'll plump for Ghana.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Northerners win again though...

Senegal or Ivory Coast, I'd have gone for Morocco too if they didn't have Chamakh.

All the matches are being shown on British Eurosport I believe for anyone that is interested.

Also highlights on ITV4 from Sunday.

Reckon Egypt (as per usual  ) will be the team to beat.

I am looking forward to it. Hope theres matches on bbc3 as well like last time

Ivory Coast must be the team to beat but they could fail under such pressure

You are quite correct.

I was at Ghana 2008 when they fluffed their lines. With Egypt not being there both Ghana and Cote D'Ivoire have great chance to win.

Senegal's attacking options are stupidly good.

I think ITV have 1 group game, 1 QF, 1 SF and the final or something like that and British Eurosport have every game.

Finished Equatorial Guinea 1-0 Libya.

The quality was awful to be honest, doubt either side will make it through the group.

Senegal - Zambia is on at 9, which should be good.
