kloroplast, do Turkish teams ever get bans? I seem to hear alot about similar incidents to the abuse Lord Eboué got, but never seem to hear much about bans or fines.

Yes. BJK banned for this incident. For example two or three years ago my team -Galatasaray- get six match play without supporters and large fine due to events in fb derby.
