Next game against Derby, if we don't win that at least 5-0, something is seriously wrong

frankly i thought RvP might throw a punch or two in his direction...
but it shows his maturity from being a hot-headed young player to now...

We had a massive, massive disappointment last week but we responded well against Reading.

I must say I was worried after the Old Trafford defeat about how we would finish the season. The disappointment was so big that I was not sure we'd be capable of bouncing back, so on that front we did very well on Saturday.

Overall you could see that there is a strong link in the team to play the quality of game we want to play. We have shown some pride and some mental strength not to get ourselves down until the end of the season, and that is very important.

The next season starts now and we want to finish as well as possible - you never know. We can make 83 points, that is still reachable. We showed our style again on Saturday and I think our collective technical ability is the best we have had in the last 12 years.

If you look back with hindsight you could say that at the start of the season we had nothing to lose. When we came under pressure in March maybe we were a bit unlucky, we dropped some points because every problem we had to face we lacked a little bit of maturity, but overall there is a lot of hope here.

If you saw the game on Saturday, the kind of quality football we can play, I believe this team has to stay together and to win - then they will convince people completely. We want to win but with our own style.

As for Reading, I think they will stay up. They probably need three points with three games to go and they have a home game against Tottenham so they probably need to win that. If they don't get the three points they need at home, they could be under threat.

Finally, a word on Theo Walcott. He was very impressive against Reading and has made a big improvement in the last two months. He has became more of a 'man' in the game.

He still looked a little bit like a kid at the beginning of the season but now he has more belief in the fight, there is a more determined attitude, there's more power in his body when he has to resist challenges. It's just a normal development of a boy who has become a man.
