Arsenal 3-0 West Brom (reserves)

Postby Hammered Pizza » Wed Mar 14, 2012 10:06 pm

Goals from Park, Gnabry and Aneke in a comfortable victory.

Most important news though is Andre Santos' return. He started, and played an hour before being subbed off for Jernade Meade.

Was a strong side put out by Banfield - stronger than our first team for parts of this season - so the win was hardly surprising. Among our starters were Jenkinson, Djourou, Santos, Chamakh, and Park.

I'm out, pushed before I could jump.
It was fun.

Burn short, burn bright.
Always Arsenal.

My other haunt.

I would hardly say he is a bigger talent, as no one could tell that for sure atm. But he is certainly an enormous prospect, looks the real deal, much like Chambo

Gnabry could be a big thing. In Germany he was already rated very highly before his move to Arsenal and comparisons to Götze, Kroos or Özil were made in regards to his talent. So far he seems to justify that praise and I'm really curious to see how he develops at Arsenal.

I bet you've never even watched Chamberlain when he was 16. Furthermore, At 16/17 , last season Chamberlain played 41 games for Southampton, scoring 10 and assisting 8, at a much higher level than reserves.

Anyone seen Parks goal yet? Quality left footed strike from the edgeof the box. Also, no doubt about it, Ozyakup is legit.

Not me, heard it was quality though.

We have about four youth players who are the real deal, Gnarbry, Aneke, Ozyakup and Yennaris. Yennaris i hear is also a massive Gooner like Jenkinson.

Good times.

Haven't seen the highlights or anything, but surely Park deserve a chance at some point? He's obviously got enough pedigree.

Yennaris was in the year above me at my secondary school, kinda weird seeing him play for the Arsenal now haha.

I've given up hope that Wenger will ever give Park a proper chance
pity, he's comfortably better than Chamakh

Think alot of those wont make it GG. Ozyakup is a good solid player but i dont think he aint that special to play in our first team midfield, even in the future. I think he will just fade off the radar after a time. Time will tell.

Thats cool. I understand you probably don't know him at all well but what impession did you get of him at school? was he fairly grounded or arogant? I also understand people can change alot between the ages of 16andtheir earliy 20s but still, im intrigued....
